How about uric acid stones?
Hey Kimberly, thanks for reaching out! We will be covering this in upcoming content related to uric acid stones. But, when it comes to this stone type, it’s all about urine pH!
Uric acid kidney stones can only form in acidic urine. So, you will need to get your urine into the neutral range (pH of ~6.5-7.5) to stop forming this stone type.
This can be accomplished with supplements or through diet. Diet is always the best path, though!
