I've joined other kidney stone support groups in the past. What makes yours different?
Great question! We've been members of those communities too, and have found that these groups are full of people parroting the same advice they get from their doctors. Unfortunately, this advice leads them to surgery, side-effect-ridden pharmaceutical drugs, and lousy dietary advice. Inside the Stone Relief Community, you will find people who choose a more natural approach to managing kidney stones which includes tried-and- true diet advice that works.
What type of things do people discuss in your support group?
Our community focuses on natural methods of passing and preventing kidney stones. We discuss what has worked for us and what hasn't. There's a lot of self-experimentation and talk about current research topics. There are also people currently passing stones that reach out for guidance. We also inject relevant researched-backed information through blogs, videos, and podcasts weekly that can be the root of further conversation.
Is the content that your support group discusses backed by medical professionals?
Probably not! And, candidly, if you're looking for this type of advice, you should look elsewhere. Most people who join the Stone Relief Community have exhausted all the options made available to them by medical professionals. They're sick and tired of surgery, the side effects of medications, and diet changes that don't work. We discuss real-world solutions that our community has tested and found to work, not medical advice from epidemiology studies that use correlation as causation and call it fact.
I'm looking for support that extends beyond my group of peers. What do you have to offer?
Most people can find answers to their questions within the community. However, if you're looking for more detailed information or coaching, we can help. Our ever-growing education library, learning management platform, and one-on-one coaching services within the Stone Relief Community can help you achieve your goals.
